Pumpkin "Nagydobosi".
A very popular Hungarian variety with a 110-day growing period, producing fruits weighing 4–9 kg. The moderately juicy, orange flesh contains no coarse fibers.

Cultivation.
The best soils for pumpkin are sandy loam and light loam. Sow pumpkin when the soil warms up to +10…+12°C. Plant the seeds 5–10 cm deep. Place 2–3 seeds in each hole. After emergence, remove weaker plants. Pumpkin can also be grown through seedlings and transplanted outdoors at one month of age (2–3 true leaves stage). Long-vining varieties are sown in rows with a 1.4×1.0 m spacing. Bush forms are sown in a square-nest pattern with 80×60 cm spacing.
Plant care includes: pinching side shoots, pinching the main stem (after several fruits have set), watering, weeding, loosening, and обязательное feeding. To encourage the formation of additional roots, plants are lightly earthed up with moist soil. Harvest fruits as they mature.
* Pumpkin sowings should be protected from rooks. The most reliable method is covering with old film, which is removed after seedlings appear.

* How to freeze fresh pumpkin?
Frozen pumpkin pieces are perfect for pumpkin soups or side dishes...
To freeze pumpkin, first remove the seeds and fibers, then cut it into cubes. Place the pieces on a baking tray or board lined with parchment paper. Put it in the freezer for 20 minutes, then take it out, pack the cubes into separate bags, and return them to the freezer.
Freezing pumpkin purée.
Pumpkin purée is a very practical option and can be used in many dishes. It can be added to soups or used in baking. You can freeze purée in small bags or plastic cups. If using freezer bags, try to remove excess air after filling, then seal tightly by tying or taping the bag. Place sealed bags on a tray or board and put them in the freezer. If using cups, fill them leaving 2–3 cm from the top. When adding purée, gently shake the cup to remove air bubbles — this helps it freeze more evenly. Wrap the cups with cling film and place them in the freezer.
Which containers are best for freezing?
Purée can be frozen in bags, plastic containers, or even small jars (for example, baby food jars). Choose containers depending on your needs. Bags, unlike containers and jars, save a lot of space.
Don’t forget to weigh it!
Before freezing purée or raw pumpkin cubes, it’s recommended to weigh them and label the jar or bag with the weight. This makes cooking much easier, because you will know exactly how much pumpkin is needed for a specific recipe.
You can divide it into portions: 250 g, 500 g, etc. Knowing the weight is important, especially if you use pumpkin for baking. Pumpkin seeds should be rinsed well, dried, lightly salted, and then dried in the oven at +180°C for about 30 minutes.
You can also roast the seeds in a pan with a little oil, stirring constantly. Seeds can be eaten as a snack or added to salads and porridge.
Pumpkin seeds are a valuable продукт, so never throw them away after cleaning!
Defrosting.
For many dishes such as stews, soups, or risotto, pumpkin pieces do not need to be thawed beforehand. If you have thawed pumpkin, do not freeze it again, as it will lose its taste and quality.

Important: pumpkin seeds should be placed in the soil only flat, then covered and pressed with soil.
If they are placed differently or not pressed firmly enough, the plant will simply “pull” the seed coat out of the soil, and the cotyledons will not be able to open.
